Ok this is pretty corny, but then so was the Idol contest.  But the kids were so sweet and totally invested and I enjoyed the process. Having some experience in stage/singing gave this special meaning.  This promo pretty much shows what was involved, semi-finals taping, a workshop I led for the finalists, and the production and editing of a pre-contest roll-in video. Of course there’s all the other producer stuff like chasing down releases, getting bios and wrangling them during the show, etc.
